El grupo estadounidense My Chemical Romance regresará a la Ciudad de México los días 13 y 14 de febrero de 2026 con su gira Long Live The Black Parade, donde ofrecerá a sus seguidores mexicanos la interpretación completa de su álbum más emblemático. La banda presentará en directo cada uno de los temas de The Black Parade, disco que marcó una época en el rock alternativo tras su lanzamiento en 2006.
Durante los conciertos en la capital mexicana, el público podrá escuchar temas como “Welcome to the Black Parade”, “I Don’t Love You” y “Famous Last Words”, que forman parte del repertorio infalible de la agrupación. Esta gira representa el reencuentro de My Chemical Romance con sus seguidores mexicanos después de 4 años, en un espectáculo que busca replicar la experiencia de su aclamado show el 5 de octubre de 2007 en el Palacio de los Deportes.
El setlist de “Long Live The Black Parade”
La serie de presentaciones corresponde a la gira norteamericana que la banda inició en 2025, donde visitó diez ciudades de Estados Unidos. En cada fecha, My Chemical Romance varió el orden de las canciones, aunque mantuvo como eje central la ejecución íntegra de The Black Parade. Además, en esos conciertos el grupo dividió su show en dos partes, utilizando plataformas secundarias para interpretar temas de diferentes discos.
En el caso de México, el espectáculo tendrá como acto de apertura a The Hives, banda sueca reconocida por su energía y presencia en la escena del rock. Para la fecha inaugural de la gira 2026 el 25 de enero en Lima, Perú, la agrupación optó por presentar diez canciones adicionales seleccionadas de forma aleatoria de su discografía.
Durante sus conciertos en Chile, Argentina y Brasil la banda liderada por Gerard Way interpretó un repertorio distinto para la segunda parte del show. Formato que se espera también para sus fechas mexicanas, donde el repertorio incluirá tanto el recorrido completo por The Black Parade como una selección de otros éxitos.
