(ATR) A decade after the 2008 Summer Olympics the famous athletes who competed there still bring back memories of their sporting achievements.

Around the Rings is lookingback at the 2008 Games in pictures from our team covering the event, the first Olympics in China. To see the first gallery click here. The city is currently preparing to stage the 2022 Winter Olympics, becoming the first city to host both editions of the Games.

Rafael Nadal won the men's tennis gold medal, and Usain Bolt won his first Olympic medal by setting a world record in the 100m. These are just a few of the sporting moments on display in Beijing.
