The Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation (SECTEI) had previously reported that the dates for receiving applications for incorporation would be from January to February 2022, however, the Mexico City Government updated the new call for the registration of the Pilares Bienestar Grant 2022, which had an extension to enroll from 20 to 21 April 2022.
This grant grants 960 pesos to high school and undergraduate students, since through pillars the government intends to provide more than 2,000 scholarships to help people with limited resources to continue their studies.
The call is aimed at young people between 15 and 29 years of age who study high school online, distance or openly, as well as those who study a bachelor's degree in the modalities established in the Rules of Operation of the social program.
Calendar
For baccalaureate applicants: Registration starts on April 20, 2022 and registration closes on April 21, 2022.
For bachelor's degree applicants: Registration begins on April 20, 2022 and registration closes on April 21, 2022.
Registering does not guarantee that you will be automatically incorporated into the program, since it is only the beginning of the procedure.
Requisitos:
-Living in Mexico City.
-Be 15 to 29 years old.
-Do not receive other economic support or similar social program.
-Do not work in the federal, state or local government.
-Have a personal and up-to-date email account.
-Availability of time to receive advice in the Pilares Cyberschools (once a week).
-Be enrolled in a secondary school of the National Institute for Adult Education INEA; be enrolled in online, bremote or open high school and that it is part of SECTEI CDMX, pillars baccalaureate, SEP online preparatory, open preparatory for the COLBACH certification exam or be studying an online, blended, face-to-face or school system degree at a public university.
-Have a valid official photo ID. Minors present themselves with parents or guardian.
-Proof of study that proves that you are studying in any of the required places.
-Have your CURP.
-Have a valid proof of address that proves that you live in Mexico City must respond in January, February or March.
The steps for registration:
-First step: Access the following link https://www.sectei.cdmx.gob.mx/convocatorias-sectei/convocatorias-pilares.
-Second step: Select the option Extension of the PILLARS Bienestar Scholarship Call in 2022.
-Third step: Download and print your proof of registration that includes the folio number with which you participate in the scholarship.
Financial support continues in the same amount and will be granted to persons who meet all the requirements and submit all required documents in order, on time and form. This money will be awarded from May to November 2022.
The delivery method is by means of a card issued by a banking institution. The dates, times and place to collect the card will be given through the email becaspilares@sectei.cdmx.gob.mx
Finally, the results of those accepted for the 2022 Pilares Scholarship will be given on April 29, 2022, on the official website of the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation in Mexico City.
