Since April 2020, Esteban Santos Rodríguez and Gabriela Tafur have had a loving relationship that, despite their recognition among the Colombian public, has remained low profile and away from the media.
However, several details were revealed in an interview with 'La red', by Caracol Televisión, when they caught the youngest son of former president Juan Manuel Santos, while he picked up his girlfriend in the recordings of 'Desafío: the box', a reality show of which she is a presenter.
According to what the young man said, he met the model several years ago, but by then both had their respective relationships and hardly even started a friendship.
It was until a couple of years ago that Gabriela Tafur took the initiative to speak to Esteban Santos, during the concert that J Balvin gave at the Barranquilla Carnival. However, he was very careful to avoid being the center of media attention.
Regarding the first gifts they gave to each other, Santos Rodríguez said that he gave him a wayuú backpack and received some white sneakers that he still has and, in fact, was wearing at the time of the interview with 'La red'.
Finally, it was revealed that one of the things that bothers Señorita Colombia 2018 the most is that her boyfriend does not reply to her WhatsApp messages, although she said that this is not the case.
It is worth mentioning that Gabriela Tafur joined the 'Challenge: the box' to replace Daniella Álvarez and has been very popular among the audience, as this is reflected in the comments broadcast on social networks, despite the fact that this is her debut on the small screen.
Álvarez was in the first edition of the 'Challenge: the box' (2021) and became an example for the 'Superhumans', since only eight months earlier part of his left leg had been amputated and his right foot had lost mobility. Still, he came to Tobia and climbed, danced and enjoyed his participation there.
That is why the former beauty queen appeared in the first chapter, during the official formation of the well-known Alpha, Beta, Gamma and Omega teams, and clarified the reasons for her absence.
Daniella Álvarez insisted that her presence at the Challenge became her own challenge and an inspiration to show that “no matter how difficult a circumstance may be in life, because with desire and determination anything is possible”.
