City Events Gets Media Partner -- Conferences & Conventions

(ATR) Around the Ringswill serve as a media partner for the 2015 City Events Conference.

The sixth City Event conference will be take place in Paris, and dates for the conference are Nov. 17-18.

Registration for the conference is open until Nov. 16. Participants who register before Jul. 31 will receive the early bird rate of $752. Registration from Aug. 1 to Nov. 16 will cost $886.

International Convention on Science, Education and Medicine in Sport

The 2016 edition of the International Convention on Science, Education and Medicine in Sport will take place in Santos, Brazil.

The conference, put on by the International Paralympic Committee, is held every four years in the country that hosts the Summer Paralympics. Dates for the convention are Aug. 31-Sept. 4.

The International Paralympic Committee (IPC), the International Federation of Sports Medicine (FIMS) and International Council of Sport Science and Physical Education coordinate the conference every four years.

IPC Vista Conference

David Sanz-Rivas will headline the International Paralympic Committee’s Vista conference as the keynote speaker in Girona, Spain.

Sanz-Rivas has captained the Spanish wheelchair tennis team for the last five Paralympic Games and will give a speech focused on athlete pathways in wheelchair tennis, touching on the importance of long-term development plans for players.

The conference will take place from October 7-10 featuring the theme "securing the future of young-para athletes".
