Venezia's 1-0 win over Bologna on Sunday, was hard fought at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara. Both sides arrived on the back of wins. Bologna were looking to pick up points after winning their previous two games against Sampdoria away and Cagliari at home, by 2-1 and 2-0 respectively. Venezia, on the other hand, were able to continue their winning streak after a 3-2 win against Roma in their last match. Following today's result, Bologna are in 9th place on the table and has 18 points while Venezia sit in 13th with 15 points after 13 matches.
After a goalless first half, Venezia continued to apply pressure in the second and were rewarded, with a goal from David Okereke at the 61 minute mark. When the final wisthle blew, the result was 1-0 to Venezia.

Bologna will next travel to Spezia Calcio, while Venezia will face Internazionale at home.
