The relatives of a teenage girl murdered in Trujillo call for justice. Her body was found seven days after she was missing on abandoned land in the district of La Esperanza and it was only possible to confirm her identity after undergoing a series of examinations by the Legal Medical Unit of the Public Prosecutor's Office.

The parents of the 15-year-old girl, with the initials K.M.C., reported their daughter missing on March 20 in the El Milagro town center in Huanchaco. “The last thing we heard about her is that she went shopping,” they placed in the ad that was spread by various media outlets.

Seven days later, it was revealed that his body had been found in a plot of land in the Sol Rasciente II sector, in the district of La Esperanza. He was already in a state of decomposition, but the blood stains on the wall and around the body boasted the degree of violence used to end his life.

“Help me, authorities of El Milagro, Huanchaco, I want justice for my child. He was only 15 years old. Today she is my daughter, but tomorrow she can be any of our daughters,” asked Roxana Chavez, mother of the victim.

“We ask for justice to be done. We want the authorities to continue investigations and find the person responsible for the death of my youngest daughter. She disappeared on March 20 when she went shopping,” the minor's father also said.

After this painful outcome was known, the neighbors of the family arrived at the minor's house in the town center of Huanchaco with placards. These could read the demands of justice and the death penalty for whoever is responsible for this crime. The family and acquaintances only hope that the crime will not go unpunished.

“The National Police must find the person responsible for this death, today it was a girl and later it may be another girl. We only want justice for a noble girl, from her house,” said a neighbor from the area.

“We are tired of the abandonment of the authorities, of crime, of murders, quotas. She was a noble child, from her house. We need to be heard, the authorities have to be empathetic to the pain of others,” said another neighbor, who also asks for justice for 'Karlita', as they knew the minor.
