Levante were held to 3-3 draw by Barca down on Tuesday at the Ciutat de Valencia. With both teams drawing in their previous fixtures, they were keen to pick up points. Levante wanted to continue adding points after a 2-2 draw against Alaves. Barca had managed to pick up a single point in their encounter with Atletico Madrid. As things stand, Levante are in 13th place on the table and has 40 points while Barca sit in 2nd with 76 points after 36 matches.

Barca started the game well, with Lionel Messi giving Los Blaugranas the lead in the 25th minute. Barca then netted once more and increased their lead thanks to a goal from Pedri in the 34th minute, to take a 0-2 lead into half time.

The Frogs took the initiative in the second half, thanks to Gonzalo Melero finding the net at the 57 minute mark. The momentum was now with Levante, who then scored again through a goal from Jose Luis Morales, on 59 minutes to establish a 2-2. However, each side looked hungry to win and Barca then found the back of the net, on 64 minutes thanks to Ousmane Dembele, taking the score to 3-2. In the end though, their celebrations were kept brief, as Sergio Leon equalised for Levante at the 83 minute mark. The final result, Levante 3, Barca 3.

For Levante, Dani Gomez, Mickael Malsa, Coke, Sergio Leon and Giorgi Kochorashvili, came on for Enis Bardhi, Oscar Duarte, Jorge Miramon, Roger Marti and Jose Luis Morales. Barca brought on Sergi Roberto, Oscar Mingueza, Sergino Dest, Martin Braithwaite and Riqui Puig, to replace Ronald Araujo, Pedri, Ousmane Dembele, Antoine Griezmann and Sergi Roberto.
