Juve suffered a home defeat to AC Milan on Sunday at the Allianz Stadium. Both Juve and Milan arrived on the back of wins. Juve were looking to continue their run after winning last match. Milan, on the other hand, were looking to extend their winning run after a 2-0 victory against Benevento. As the table looks today, Juve and Milan currently occupy 5th and 3rd spots in the table, with 69 points and 72 points respectively after 35 matches.

Rossoneri started strong and were rewarded for their efforts, with Brahim Diaz opening the rout just before half-time to see out the first half 0-1.

Milan continued to apply pressure in the second and were rewarded, with a goal from Ante Rebic, 78 minutes in. They then scored again, increasing their advantage thanks to a goal from Fikayo Tomori at the 82 minute mark with a final score of 3-0.

Juve brought on Dejan Kulusevski and Paulo Dybala for Rodrigo Bentancur and Federico Chiesa. Milan brought on Ante Rebic, Rade Krunic, Diogo Dalot and Soualiho Meite, to replace Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Brahim Diaz, Ismael Bennacer and Alexis Saelemaekers.

There were bookings for Federico Chiesa and Giorgio Chiellini from Juve. For Milan, Brahim Diaz and Alexis Saelemaekers saw yellow.

Next up, Juve are away to Sassuolo, whilst Milan will travel to face Torino.
