On Sunday, Fiorentina and Juve were held to a 1-1 draw at Stadio Artemio Franchi. Both teams arrived in good form, having secured victories in their previous matches. Fiorentina were keen to hang onto their position at the top of league and extend their winning run, following a 2-1 victory against Hellas Verona. Juve were looking to extend their winning run after a 3-1 victory against Parma. As things stand, Fiorentina are in 14th place on the table and has 34 points while Juve sit in 3rd with 66 points after 33 matches.

The Purple One found the net first, thanks to Dusan Vlahovic finding the net, 29 minutes in. However, their celebrations were kept brief, as Alvaro Morata equalised for Juve just before half-time, to take a 1-1 lead into half time. With both teams struggling to produce anything meaningful in the second half though, the game ended 1-1.

For Fiorentina, Lucas Martinez Quarta, Cristiano Biraghi, Christian Kouame and Valentin Eysseric, came on for Lorenzo Venuti, Igor, Franck Ribery and Gaetano Castrovilli. Juve brought on Alvaro Morata, Dejan Kulusevski and Weston McKennie, to replace Paulo Dybala, Leonardo Bonucci and Aaron Ramsey.

There were bookings for Igor, Martin Caceres and Cristiano Biraghi from Fiorentina, and Matthijs De Ligt, for Juve.

Next up, Fiorentina are away to Bologna, whilst Juve will travel to face Udinese.
