On Tuesday, Southampton suffer an away defeat to Leeds at Elland Road. Leeds United were looking to get back winning ways after losing their last game 1-0 to Wolverhampton Wanderers. Southampton are struggling for form following a draw in their last match. As the table looks today, Leeds United and Southampton currently occupy 10th and 14th spots in the league, with 35 points and 30 points respectively after 18 matches.

There were bookings for Raphinha from Leeds and Jannik Vestergaard and Moussa Djenepo for Southampton.

Leeds United will play their next fixture at home against Aston Villa, while Southampton will face Everton away.
