(ATR) IOC president Thomas Bach has three major trips lined up, Around the Rings has learned.

First up for Bach is a trip to Sofia, Bulgaria to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the Bulgarian Olympic Committee. An exact date for his time in Bulgaria had not been set.

Bach will then travel to Incheon, South Korea for the start of the Asian Games. Asia’s largest sporting event is scheduled to start Sept. 19.

The final confirmed trip is to Georgia, where he will attend the 25th anniversary celebration of the Georgian National Olympic Committee. The NOC was founded on October 6. There was no date for when Bach would visit Georgia, nor any information about a ceremony on the GNOC website.

Media reports say Bach will pay a visit to the Armenian National Olympic Committee but a spokesperson for the IOC told ATR, no other visits have been confirmed.

This week, Bach is at IOC Headquarters in Lausanne, where things are "business as usual" following the Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing. Bach is in a series of meetings relating to Olympic Agenda 2020, the spokesperson added.
