(ATR) Rugby returns to the Olympics after a nearly 100-year absences.
On Sunday, rugby sevens competition started at the Youth Olympic Games in China.
Other competitions scheduled for Monday include 3x3 basketball, cycling, fencing, football, judo, swimming, tennis, and weightlifting.

The 2014 World Rowing Championships open Aug. 24 in Amsterdam.
The World Rowing Federation (FISA) organizes the annual week-long regatta. FISA expectsover 1,100 competitors from 60 countries.Competition ends August 31.
FEI World Equestrian Games
DThe International Equestrian Federation's 2014 World Equestrian Games begin Aug. 23 in Normandy, France.
Equestrian dressage events, taking place this Sunday through August 29, will serve as qualifying events for the 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Competition for the World Equestrian Games ends September 7.
Para-sailing World Championships
Action continues at the para-sailing world championships in the Canadian province of Nova Scotia. The event ends on August 25.
The event is a qualifier for the 2016 Paralympics.
Sunday marks the sixth anniversary of the closing of the 2008 Summer Olympic Games.
