(ATR)Josh Adams, managing director of U.S. Sailing, joinedAround the Rings on Fridayfrom Santander, Spain to discuss the 2014 Sailing World Championships and the road to Rio 2016.

Adams tellsATRthat athletes on the U.S. Sailing team Sperry Top-Sider will be safe to sail in Rio's Guanabara Bay in 2016.

The International Sailing Federation says over 1,400 sailors representing 80 countries are gathered in Santander.The World Championships, which end Sept. 21, serve as a qualifying event for the 2016 Olympics.
