Sweden defeated Finland in the thrilling Women's WFC final after penalty shots and won the WFC gold. 6517 spectators watched the Women's final in the Hakametsä Arena.

Emelie Wibron (SWE) and Jonna Mäkelä (FIN) were elected best players of the final.

Switzerland took the bronze beating Czech Republic in a tight match 5-4.

The ASICS Golden Floorball Shoe WFC MVP Trophy was awarded to Anna Wijk from Sweden. Cecilia Di Nardo from Denmark was the WFC top scorer with 14+4.

Women's WFC Records

A new attendance per match record was reached during the WFC final when 6 517 spectators attended the Hakametsä Arena. The previous record was from 2013 when 5 021 spectators watched the Czech Republic - Switzerland bronze game.

Women´s WFC Group match spectator record

A new group match spectator record for a Women’s WFC Group match was also reached. Finland faced Switzerland in front of 3 476 spectators in the Hakametsä Arena. The previous record was made 2013 in Brno, Czech Republic when 2 528 people attended the Czech Republic versus Switzerland group game.

Anna Wijk the player with most WFC assist

Anna Wijk is now the player with the most assists in the Women's World Floorball Championships. Her total number of WFC assists is now 37 in 24 WFC matches.

IFF Member Associations' Meeting

The International Floorball Federation held its 3rd Associations' Meeting during the World Floorball Championships 2015 in Tampere, Finland. A total of 30 IFF Member Associations attended the Associations' Meeting.
