The Sports and Events Tourism Exchange (SETE) is taking place from 22 – 24 October 2013 at the Durban International Convention Centre (ICC) and will play a fundamental role in promoting sports and tourism in South Africa and is aimed at positioning South Africa as a sport tourism destination.

More than 10% of foreign tourists come to South Africa to watch or participate in sporting events, with spectators accounting for 60% to 80% of these arrivals. It is in this light that Southern African Tourism Services Association (SATSA) is proud to exhibit at the prestigious SETE exhibition & conference.

SATSA realises that sports can never be separated from tourism and strives for professionalism and integrity within the Southern Africa inbound tourism Industry and is committed to the growth and recognition thereof, for the benefit of all its members and visitors alike.

Qochiwe Moyo, Communications Officer for SATSA comments, "We provide tourism buyers with quality advice and information on credible tourism partners in Southern Africa whilst striving to set the highest standards in the Tourism Industry. We believe that SETE provides us with the platform to ensure this."
