Romania will face Uruguay for the final place at Rugby World Cup 2011 in New Zealand after both secured comfortable home play-off victories on Saturday.
Uruguay defeated Kazakhstan 44-7 in Montevideo to keep their hopes alive, while Romania, who have competed in all six previous Rugby World Cups, beat Tunisia 56-13 in Buzau to remain on course.
Both teams will now look ahead to the two-leg play-off final in November when the winner on aggregate will earn a place in Pool B in New Zealand alongside Argentina, England, Scotland and Georgia.
