On Tuesday, the defense team for Oscar Pistorius scrutinized photographs of the blood-spattered scene where the Olympian shot Reeva Steenkamp on Valentine's Day of 2013.
According to an ESPN report, defense attorney Barry Roux probed police photographer Bennie van Staden over hundreds of crime scene photos.Roux pointed outthat objects at the crime scene "had been moved and were in different positions in photos."
Time of day records on the images also revealed that the two police photographers at the crime scene were in the same room at points, even though van Staden claimed he was working alone.
Pistorius is charged with the premeditated murder of his late girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp. The Olympian says he thought she was an intruder in his Johannesburg home.
On March 3, Pistorius pleaded not guilty to one charge of murder and a firearms charge associated with Steenkamp's killing.
If convicted, Pistorius faces 25 years in jail.
