(ATR) The 2014 International Rugby Board World Rugby Conference and Exhibition will take place in London on November 17-18.

After the successful 2013 edition in Dublin, the IRB announced the second iteration of the ConFex will take place at theHilton London Metropole.

The IRB launched a new website for the conference, which can be found here.

"Our aim is to build on the success of last year’s inaugural event at what is an important time in rugby’s development," IRB chairman Bernard Lapasset said in a statement.

"Participation is growing around the world, rugby sevens is set to make its debut at the Olympic Games, and there will be less than a year to go before Rugby World Cup 2015 kicks off."

Speakers and themes will be announced in the coming months.

Soccerex Americas Forum

The first ever Soccerex Americas Forum will take place on October 21-22 in Barbados.

Soccerex announced the event in coordination with theBarbados Tourism Authority.

The topics ofleague development, player development, and retention and sport tourism have been confirmed by Soccerex for the conference. The 2016 Copa America in the U.S. and a potential CONCACAF 2026 World Cup bid will also be included in possible conference topics.

Speakers for the forum will be announced soon.

"I am delighted that our first Americas Forum will be held in Barbados, a country with a huge sporting passion," Soccerex CEO Duncan Revie said in a statement.

"It will provide a great location to start our time in the region and to continue our efforts of strengthening football business within the Americas. With all the beautiful island has to offer, there isn’t a better backdrop to do business."

FINA Aquatics Convention

The 3rd FINA World Aquatics Convention will take place November 29-December 1 in Doha, Qatar.

The conference will precede the 25m World Championships.
