Chicago

• More than 55,000 secured hotel rooms

• 20,000 beds in university residences, 33,000 rooms within an 8 km radius of Games center, more than 115,000 hotel rooms in Chicago metropolitan area

• Number of five star, four star, three star, two star hotels: 300

• More than 75,000 hotel rooms, 13,000 beds in university housing available for spectators

• More than 100 hotels with 23,000 rooms are planned for to be constructed by 2016

Madrid

• 51,000 hotel rooms

• 6,800 rooms in the Halls of Residence of the Madrid Universities, 23,000 rooms within a 50 km radius of Olympic Stadium

• Number of five star, four star, three star, two star hotels: 403

• About 10,000 rooms within 10 km of the Games center, 1,400 rooms within 50 km of Madrid, 16,000 rooms within 50 km of the Games center available for spectators

Rio de Janeiro

• More than 13,000 secured hotel rooms, hotel capacity is approximately 20,000 rooms

• More than 8,500 cabins on cruise ships, nearly 1,700 rooms in apart-hotels

• Number of five star, four star, three star, two star hotels: 157

• Rooms will be available in Teresopolis (63 km from Rio) and Frigurgo (about 100 km from Rio) for spectators

• Five planned hotels include 1,528 rooms

Tokyo

• More than 45,000 secured hotel rooms

• About 80,000 rooms within 10 km of the Games center, and over 120,000 rooms within 50 km

• Number of five star, four star, three star, two star hotels: 279

• 80,000 rooms within 50 km of the Olympic Stadium will be available for spectators

• 7,000 additional hotel rooms are planned to be constructed by 2016
