ANOC World Beach Games San Diego Successfully Concludes One Year Out Countdown

(ATR)The month of October marked the One Year Out and our team celebrated by showcasing some of the exciting sports that will be featured at the 2019 Games.

On Oct 6th, the Road to the Games’ Beach Tennis tournament organized in conjunction with the International Tennis Federation Beach Tennis, took place during the Annual Pacific BeachFest celebration where over 30,000 attendees enjoyed a full day of activities.

With +60 Pro and Amateur players, the event brought fierce competition combined with a DJ led festive environment; truly showcasing the vibrant culture of the Beach Tennis community.

Our spectators joined in the fun at the trial courts including the kids zone where clinics were provided by Tennis Pros. Fantastic event all around!

On October 12th, the ANOC World Beach Games San Diego 2019 in conjunction with CA Training Facility organized a media jam session featuring top ranked skateboarders and CAF's up and coming professionals for a fun evening at San Diego's elite facility.

The evening included interviews by Entrepreneur Magazine of select top skateboarders including Jordyn Barratt (World Rank #3), Tom Schaar (World Rank #3),and Amelia Brodka (#15).

Too The Organising Committee began the 1 year countdown to San Diego 2019 by announcing a media rights agreement with NBC Olympics, coupling its peerless Olympic pedigree and established digital platforms with the first global festival of elite beach, water and action sports.
