(ATR) Marcos Diaz says the World Anti Doping Agency should give more consideration to the impact of its decisions on smaller nations like Dominican Republic.

Diaz, 44, is vice minister of sport for Dominican Republic and one of two candidates in the running for the WADA presidency. The other is Poland sports minister Witold Banka. A consensus candidate is expected to emerge from a May 14 WADA meeting in Montreal.

Diaz is a former elite athlete in triathlon, surfing and open water swimming.

He speaks with ATR Editor Ed Hula in this edition of ATRadio.
