JAPPO and Rwanda National Olympic and Sports Committee sign partnership for CISA 2015

JAPPO Sports & Entertainment (www.jappo.net) officialized its partnership this Monday June 30th with Rwanda National Olympic and Sports Committee to host 2015 CISA Convention.

The Convention will take place in Kigali from March 11 to March 15, 2015, and expects to bring together more than 400 sport’s leaders, decision-makers, practitioners and athletes from the african and international sport Movement. This 9th edition, will celebrate african’s sport legends and will address the African Games’ future. The CISA Kids project, the sport’s journalists seminar, the induction to the Africa Sport’s Hall of Fame, a sport’s Minister seminar are also included in the 4-days program.

«Organizing CISA in Rwanda represents a fantastic opportunity to upgrade the Convention’s standards along with reaching out a wider audience, specifically among english speaking countries. During my first coordination visit, I was impressed by Rwanda’s professionalism and organization. It will be of a great pleasure working with Rwanda’s NOC and his President Robert Bayigamba over the upcoming months. I’m truly confident that the local organizing committee will make this 2015 edition a great success», said M. Diamil Faye, CISA’s organizer and JAPPO’s Chairman.

M. Robert Bayigamba also expressed his satisfaction and honour to have been granted the organization of this major event in Kigali: «I would like to sincerely thank JAPPO for choosing Rwanda. Hosting CISA next year reflects our willingness of becoming a leading sport country in Africa. Hosting sporting events will contribute to build our sport family’s competences and skills, while boosting our economy through sport tourism.»
